Button Issue

"Purchased these pockets to install on my new MRK2 pack for a mule deer hunt (see my review on MRK2). The unfortunate part was I could only utilize one of the pockets. Once I received the item and began to unbutton the back straps from the packaging, one of the pockets buttons would not come undone. Without using an unreasonable amount of force, I pulled slightly harder while holding on to the outer-edge of the button when the entire button assembly pulled through the fabric leaving a whole. The other button was also stuck and unable to open. Unfortunately, I have to pay $15 for shipping to submit a warranty claim for a product that cost under $25. I know Badlands will make this right based upon previous warranty services, but still frustrating knowing the lower cost of this item. On the bright side, the pocket that did work, worked flawlessly. I also have had another set on my MRK6 pack and have put those pockets through all the elements the past 3 years yielding excellent results. To clarify, I understand these things happen and not entirely upset about the product failure. My pain surrounds paying $15 to cover shipping the new item from the factory, while paying shipping to return the item to Badlands, now equaling the initial value of the pockets in shipping costs."

I have a superday pack, will these fit on that waist belt: Jeff, the Waist Belt Pocket accessory is designed for our newer style packs that have the MOLLE style waist belt, such as the MRK packs, or the Diablo VT. This accessory would not work with your Superday.
Will these attacchto the outside of my waist belt pouches that came on my 2200 pack?: Luke, the Waist Belt Pockets are NOT compatible with your 2200 and will only work with our packs that have the MOLLE attachment system on the waist belt, such as the Diablo VT and MRK series.
How much do these weigh: Wave, one pocket weighs 2.5 oz, with the set coming out to 5 oz.
Are they waterproof?: Steve, the Waist Belt Pockets are not 100% waterproof, but the material itself is waterproof. However, the zipper is not taped, so water will eventually get through the zipper.
Do these have a slot for carrying a pistol like the built-in belt pockets on your other packs?: Dave, these do not have a built-in holster attached.
